Zarxgui issue

Post by boagz57 » Wed Sep 11, 2013 9:42 pm

Hey guys. There has been a recent problem I've been experiencing with zarxgui. When I encode a video with zarx about 98 percent gets done and then a window pops up saying x264.exe has stopped working. I click the "check online for a solution and close the program" and for whatever reason this works and zarx finishes except when I go to try and play the newly encoded video I get this message, "error-2048: Couldn't open the file ____________zarx264gui.mp4 because it is not a file that quicktime understands". Whats going on? Thanks for any help!

If you are using zarx264gui 2.0, there is a known compatibility issue that causes this issue when using newer versions of quicktime. I would recommend either using zarx264gui 1.41 or trying out the new beta of zarx264gui 3.0 (although this will require you to have AviSynth 2.6 installed).

Okay thanks. downgrading to 1.41 seemed to help.
