True, that's uncompressed. However, because of your terrible grammar the sentence said:Neo-Matrix wrote:shut up dude i know what uncompressed means, and by the way i made a mistake that should be 7.4 gb. now tell me that isnt uncompressed so i can laugh at you.
"i encoded my 3.7gb uncompressed with tmpgenc"
You can't encode something uncompressed with tmpeg. You can encode an uncompressed avi into a compressed mpeg with TMPEGenc but that's not what you said.

I don't know what's wrong with you... someone is actually trying to help you and you react as you know everything when it's pretty obvious that you don't.shut up dude i know what uncompressed means, and by the way i made a mistake that should be 7.4 gb. now tell me that isnt uncompressed so i can laugh at you.
Please, try to be more polite or just try to figure out things by yourself if you don't like to be taught.
And, by the way, your answer can be easily found in the guides and in the Unofficial AMV FAQ (link below)
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

you're all wrong. i WAS asking for help, but i clearly posted that i didnt need help anymore, yet SOME people insist on correcting a sentece that wasnt quite right. how is that helpful? it isnt. it also was insulting my intelligence so i obviously had to retaliate. BTW "well screw huffyuv i encoded my 3.7gb uncompressed with tmpgenc" obviously you guys knew what it meant, so dont get picky about stuff. im guaranteeing that i wont get help from HIM anymore, which i could care less about. he is not helpful he only tried to say i didnt know what uncompressed was. if he was a helpful person, like someone i talked to from SaiyanTripleStrike, he would tell me to compress the video with tmpgenc or some other program, whichever you prefer, and help me encode my video. instead, he decided to insult me and be a jerk about the whole thing. look, i didnt ask for your opinion on my grammer or definition of a word, i just asked how to encode my video and make it work. from now on, if someone asks a question, ANSWER IT OR SHUT UP!!! i know everything i need to know from exploring and reading posts and asking FRIENDLY people how to do stuff, and that was my last question. ill be sure to exclude you guys from any other topics i start. you people arent needed in this forum.

Wow. Not only is he pompous and arrogant, and not only does he not know how to accept help, he takes every statement personally and then attacks those trying to provide the education.Neo-Matrix wrote:you're all wrong. i WAS asking for help, but i clearly posted that i didnt need help anymore, yet SOME people insist on correcting a sentece that wasnt quite right. how is that helpful? it isnt. it also was insulting my intelligence so i obviously had to retaliate. Don't come back to this forum and ask for help. In fact, if you're going to be like that, don't bother coming back here at all. You're a waste of intelligence.

You've already encoded your video so there's nothing else I can do to help you there. What I did suggest was that you read ErMaC's guide carefully to get a better understanding of what is compressed, what isn't compressed and what the different codecs are used for. That was called "helping".Neo-Matrix wrote: im guaranteeing that i wont get help from HIM anymore, which i could care less about. he is not helpful he only tried to say i didnt know what uncompressed was. if he was a helpful person, like someone i talked to from SaiyanTripleStrike, he would tell me to compress the video with tmpgenc or some other program, whichever you prefer, and help me encode my video.
As for knowing what you meant, no I didn't know what you meant. I read that sentence literally.
Given that you started the thread thinking that huffyuv would output a filesize similar to DV I presumed you still had no idea what uncompressed meant - I figured you thought uncompressed was something that didn't look compressed.
Next time, ask the right questions and you'll get the right answer.
