it's been a hectic and stressful week, we've been going back and forth to the bay for my aunts surgery and dealing with my mother has been the worstttt

also I missed a lot of school which really sucks sine I just started
I could probably rant some more but man oh man am I tired I'm gonna sleep for 20 years now, peace out homies

The New management at work fucked up big time and basically failed hard at turning a profit for this year. So a shit ton of people got canned this week. I wasn't one of them, but the whole process, including the info that was told to us (the ones left) during the company wide meeting today doesn't sound very promising for the concept of work/life balance. In the end the one thing I took out of it all is that I can look forward to getting no new staff to help with the workload despite the open reqs that we have and back fill for people who have left. Supposedly the raises and bonuses we would expect to get at the end of the year will still happen. If not, I wont be the only one looking for new employment...

Nothing like walking outside in the smoking area after the meeting and seeing nearly half the company out there. Stressful week at the office I'll say!
