Misty got a good job long ago, Ash keeps travelling.
Sometimes I wish for a new protagonist but well, I like
the series anyway. More fan of games anyway

I read somewhere yesterday that it'll be aired in american tv
divided in 4 parts, but don't know really what will be aired
in Japan in october 2

Japan's air will be in a 2 hour slot (including commercials), so actual running time will be roughly one hour and a half or so. This hour and a half will have 4 "parts" which are likely to be story arcs, each likely clocking at 20-25 minutes.
In the US and Europe, the 4 parts will be shown in different days as different episodes altogether.

Pokemon The Origin was truly amazing. No words about it, just wanted to see
more of the gym leaders sor elite four, but that final episode said it all ....awesome.

Are 3DS game saves locked to a specific 3DS? I remember there was some controversy about this kind of console-specific registering stuff getting rolled out, but I never heard anything more about it.

The reason I'm asking is: I don't have a 3DS, but to ease later frustration* I may just go ahead and buy a physical copy of X or Y. If I do this before January that still makes it in time for the Torchic event, and so if I knew someone with a 3DS and they let me use it for that, would the game save not be usable on my 3DS whenever I actually get one?

*it's similar to what I did with the Mega Man ZX games a few years ago, because I didn't have a DS at the time. But I knew I'd want the games and didn't want to end up having to hunt them down after I did get one.
