N2U 2013 AMV Contest
Greetings, good people.
They said it couldn't be done again...then they changed their minds!
N2U 2013 will be happening in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on November 1st-3rd, 2013. For more information: http://n2u.ca/index.htm . This also means that our infamous little AMV Contest is happening again as part of it. The submission deadline is October 19th, 2013, which should give you some time to make a new AMV, but you can also reach as far back as October 26th, 2012 if you wish.
A new development for this year: We will be accepting multi-editor projects! A couple of restrictions do apply, though; for more details and the rest of the rules, go to http://n2u.ca/AMV.htm . For the current/less confusing version of the entry form, please go to http://www.mediafire.com/?h2fb8gxcc9gz860 . Also, until further notice, please don't use the FTP on site; it's been very problematic as of late. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please use Mediafire or a similar website to submit your entries to the Contest.
If you have any questions, please contact me at amv@n2u.ca .
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your entries.

Re: N2U 2013 AMV Contest
Hi, everyone. We've been experiencing trouble with the FTP we have set up for entries, so, if you wish to enter the contest, please upload your videos on to Mediafire or a similar website and mail the links and completed entry form to me at amv@n2u.ca.
By the way, that's including your name and mailing address; too many entrants are glossing that part over. I've just sent a revised entry form to the N2U webmaster, which hopefully will not confuse people as much (and will hopefully be put up soon).

Re: N2U 2013 AMV Contest
Thank you to everybody who has entered so far; we've gotten a great number of entries. A few updates:
First of all, due to circumstances, I have gotten the N2U 2013 AMV Contest deadline extended to October 19th, 2013. Two more weeks! The calendar listing and top post of this thread have been changed to reflect that.
Second, until further notice, don't use the FTP on site; it's been very problematic as of late. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please use Mediafire or a similar website to submit your entries to the Contest.
Last, I have changed the entry form up so that the name thing is less confusing ("Production Group Name" is now "Name you want to be credited as," since that's what it means), and there are spaces between the lines asking for your name, street address, etc. so that not so many people will gloss that part over. Unfortunately, it looks like it's going to take time to put it up on the N2U 2013 website, so you can get the current version at:
http://www.mediafire.com/?h2fb8gxcc9gz860
If you have completed and submitted one of the previous version and given me all the information I need for the contest, then you don't need to complete and re-submit this one.
Thank you very much for your time. Awaiting more entries.

Re: N2U 2013 AMV Contest
I'm a little disappointed with the extension as I have already submitted my entries.
Although I am not withdrawing my entries, the extra time would have been a nice bonus.
I hope I am able to attend the contest. I am very excited about cosplaying for the first time.
Is there going to be an editors party of some sort?
