Re: Log Horizon
so, my first impressions of this after watching the first ep is that it's a less interesting sword art online. didn't continue past ep 1 so if this does get better let me know and i'll take another look

Re: Log Horizon
I'm enjoying it so far. I don't really like how it's being compared to SAO since this is so much more faithful to what an MMO really is, but I guess it's obvious why those comparisons are being made. Also after reading this Q&A from the creator, I can't help but love it. xD

Don t compare SAO with this one. This is not a 'Finding Nemo' anime like SAO

Re: Log Horizon
decided to give this another shot, and I am definitely enjoying it now. mean reason the first ep turned me off was it felt rushed because there wasn't really any explanation or much backstory, just "we're stuck in an MMO and...that's it".
Still doesn't seem to be an actual overall plot but I guess this series is about the journey rather than the ending. I also really like how much more this series actually takes into account actual MMO mechanics and themes than other series that use the same setting. will keep watching

Ehhhhh, if cat man waited 14 secs to attack, does that mean the root lasts for 15 seconds? :l That means the Enchanter can just perma-root someone with that one skill. That is retardedly OP. Maybe if the root lasts like 3 secs but the thorns stay on for the extra damage then it would make sense, but you can't have a CC last that long in a video game. Jesus.

Re: Log Horizon
so, took a break from this series but now caught up. this really went in an unexpected direction, wasn't expecting economics and politics to play such a large part in it. This is one of the series that actually follows MMO mechanics pretty faithfully for the most part
Definitely enjoying this series, glad it's going to last 25 eps, and hope it comes to a good conclusion at the end
