Happy Thanksgiving ya'll!!
I was so tempted to have people beta test this video because I was mega conflicted, but I've never had people beta test my videos ever, I hate it, and I knew it wouldn't be any different, so this is my "surprise!" So here's my latest video. I'm a tad nervous about this because I'm fully expecting the majority of people to be on the edge with it or dislike it completely, but it is what it is. One of my issues with creating a "serious" amv is that people tend to take it "seriously," whereas all my other videos people are just like "coo" because I was like "coo." But basically this is an animeMUSICVIDEO, or a music-video type video with anime. You can read more about all my inner turmoil in my description. Also you like my poster I made in 10 minutes?
I'm pretty excited about my credits though since it's my first time doing those, so if that's the only thing people like then at least it was something.
I'll upload a 480p version later. I would link a youtube version but when I uploaded an unlisted beta version I got a copyright strike. If anyone can tell me how to avoid this that'd be great!

The vid itself is good, didn't expect less from u anyway when u put a bit of effort in your works. Scenes from the actual music video don't bother. Maybe just too much linear, didn't really see any differences of intensity in the vid.
But tbh, I hate the song so much that I can't like the vid
Ho and I really like the outro

Re: G³
Definitely the best anime mix I have seen in a while. The atmosphere was so beautiful and same with the overlays and touches. Loved it very much! Amazing!

Amazing video editing tbh, loved the transitions and subtle effects, it all blended amazingly well, including the outro. Don't know the intensity of emotion you were going for, but it felt soft and kindda positive, just like the song.

Loved the video. I've always liked your edits in general. And this one's my favorite, although the amount of SAO in it really sickens me, but that's just me, so don't take that into account. :'D

Thanks though (:
Thank you!995Gabber wrote:Definitely the best anime mix I have seen in a while. The atmosphere was so beautiful and same with the overlays and touches. Loved it very much! Amazing!
Thanks! (: It's funny you mention the saturation, I actually purposefully added a dusty effect onto the first 3/4 of the anime clips to kind of help with the film-y effect, then let the other quarter go free when it hit that 'climax.' I don't really like it either the more I watch it, but oh well haha.qyll wrote:So good ;_;
I can see you put a lot of thought into the transitions (glow effects). Great work there! Also, the lack of crossfades was appreciated.
Coulda used a bump up in saturation in some of the scenes, but that's okay.
Lol am I supposed to know that video? >>Cecco wrote:G³?

I don't really think I improved so much as this is a different style of video I just spent more time on haha. Dunno what you mean by "vertical transitions."

Soft and positive would be two words I was definitely aiming for, so I'm really glad you said that. I enjoyed this quite a bit. I liked a lot of the transitions from the video to anime there was one i didn't really think fit but the rest i enjoyed a lot. All around good job
And if you ever need a extra beta tester i would love to help with any future vids (I actually quite enjoy beta testing)
