Woooow, I just tried rendering the same project on my laptop and it estimates half the time or the aforementioned desktop. So I grabbed CPUID to figure out why. Apparently, I have 2G for on-board graphics.

Apparently videos on Facebook will play on their own when you scroll past them now. Trying to figure out how to stop that bullshit, and all I find is ways to keep it from happening on the app, and not a desktop browser.

Fuck you, Facebook. Fuck you very much...

Opera decided to call it quits. WinAmp's finally officially out of the picture. YouTube's DASH playback is pretty much ruining the low-speed user's experience. What I've been using to interact with the Internet is going to be completely different.

In years past, iTunes' 12 Days of Christmas promotion had a page all to itself on the storefront where they'd let users know what it is for the day and the opportunity to download it.

So this year, now that they're including the U.S. for the first time, they've gotten rid of that storefront page and are making users have to use an iOS 7 device to see the information. Sure, the item (whatever it happens to be) is still free and can be found by searching for it manually, but this means users with older devices (or that don't have one at all) now must rely on other people posting the information somewhere else. And then you factor in that each country that runs the promotion might have different selections for each day, and it just gets ridiculous.
