Now for some more avisynth/directshow/virtualdub troubles...

I am trying to get this video to load.... at all. Here's what I am facing:

- DirectShowSource("C:\Users\***\Desktop\AMV Projects\Open Projects\Pokemon\Unconverted Footage\Pokemon Decolora Adventure - 13.mkv")
- I have ffdshow installed.
- I have Haali installed.
- I have Windows 8 (Not sure if this means anything here.)
- The results booting this up is a blank gray screen. Nothing more.
- Tried installing and re-installing everything.


I am running out of hope here. Anyone have ANY ideas that can get this video booted in? -_- I hate this program. I can never start it up without this problem or similar, and the fix is never the same....

Because I don't know what codec the mkv contains, I cannot determine where the problem is.
BTW, I suggest you to use FFMS2 as video source.
It can read any supported by ffmpeg and do indexing and seeking in 1 frame precision for many popular container format (except MPEG self-contained stream).
Also, it costs memory less than DirectShowSource.
