Feedback on cataloged Anime Music Videos

Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:

  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

This one's definitely different compared to my typical work. I focused on panning and smooth transitions, and in turn did the most masking I've ever done in a single video. It's a bittersweet ending for me considering the masking was all done so as not to be noticed. I guess I'm on the late train for that one.

I did everything in Premiere and Photoshop.

I enjoyed this video a lot, as I said on youtube, you often make amvs to shows I have no interest in, and you make them interesting :D

thanks :) i hope this vid inspires more people to brave the epic adventure that is one piece. it is long (and not even finished yet) but it's well worth it.

Nice transitions for the most part and a really well created atmosphere with the source combo through solid editing. I really didn't enjoy the transition through Luffy's hair towards the end and there were a couple points I thought the crossfades could have been lessened, but overall solid video and one of the more memorable One Piece ones.

Really liked the song choice and the editing overall, it all matched pretty well and One Piece is definitely a great choice when it comes to optimism. I would personally have loved it even more if the video was made only with the main series, it just makes me reminisce a lot more about the enjoyment i got of watching the series! :)

thank you, i'd like to see more one piece videos if you have any good recommendations.

i understand what you mean about the series. there's just soooooo much footage to sift through if i did that. i probably will one day tho.
