Re: Looking for original version of a Ghibli song.
The song doesn't sound familiar with any Ghibli movie I've seen. Based on the lyrics perhaps From Up on Poppy Hill? I haven't seen this one so I don't know if the song came from it.
Other possibilities would be Ponyo and Whispering Hills. Only due to the lyrics. However I've seen both of these and the samples don't seem to be from them.

The album, Ghibli of Life, featuring the song above came out in 2008. It's definitely not from From Up on Poppy Hill (2011). I think it might be from Whisper of the Heart, but I'm not 100% sure.ngsilver wrote:The song doesn't sound familiar with any Ghibli movie I've seen. Based on the lyrics perhaps From Up on Poppy Hill? Re: Looking for original version of a Ghibli song.
This more or less confirms that it's Whisper of the Heart. I kept digging after I first made this thread and one site showed it was from Whisper of the Heart. Thank you guys for all the help.
