Interview Questions - Fall_Child42

Post by Radical_Yue » Mon Apr 21, 2014 11:55 am

For our first interview, we'll be chatting with Fall_Child42!

If you have any questions you'd like to ask him, please either submit them here or post in this thread. If you'd like to submit them anonymously then just use the tumblr form. Keep in mind if we get troll questions then I'll be removing the anon option from that so don't ruin it :P
Not all questions will be covered in the interview.

I'll be doing the interview on Wednesday April 23rd, 2014 so you've only got a couple days to get your questions in!

The interview will be posted once I've had a chance to edit and prepare a copy.

-In the time since you started editing AMVs, how have you seen the medium change? In your opinion, has it changed for the better or the worst (or neither)?

-As an editor of primary comedy/parody/dadaist videos, and someone who (I believe) has expressed derision for or at least a lack of interest in serious/drama/sentimental videos, are there any videos in the latter categories that you actually enjoy? If so, which ones and why? [If I'm mistaken in my assumption about Todd's attitude about these types of videos, just ignore this question.]

-What do you wish you saw more of in the AMV community (whether that be certain types of videos being released, more activity on the .org, a shift in attitude towards some aspect of AMVs, etc.)?

-What's your opinion on the younger generation of editors (let's say, anyone who started releasing videos 2010 or after), both in terms of their attitude towards editing and the videos themselves? Is there anything quantitatively or qualitatively different compared to older generations?

-Do you attend to conventions? Have you won an award during one you attended?

-If you could advise new editors, what would it be?

-How's your relationship with foreign editors?

This is not a question. More of a recommendation:

Could you add a kind of 'mini-biograpghy' to your invited guests? That should make the interview more interesting in the case the audience doesn't know who the guest is

I like this idea.

But someone else should write it.

Because A: he said Biography and not Auto-Biography.
and B: I'm lazy.
