Ah. I suppose it was just me then.
Great.
Good.
Hey, a query to those who live dangerously; what was the closest you all got to deadline to start a new video from scratch and STILL made it in time to be accepted? I'm gambling with a second video and would like to hear some inspiring stories.

36 hours. Of which I edited, then rendered nonstop. Then outputted to VHS and ran to the last post office open late on a Saturday. Yes, this was long ago.
But that was 36 for an effects heavy video, and by that I mean lots of photoshop compositing. I wouldn't recommend it for effects heavy. I outputted the last possible render with a glitch in it that caused a 3 second sequence to repeat followed by a 2 second black empty space before it went back to the proper part of the video. Left myself no time for fixes, so off it went. :/

Since people are sharing their editing stories here's mine. Pretty much edited nearly every day for about 5 months strait just to finish one video. I don't think it's a good idea to rush things especially when your dealing with effects, ended up redoing a couple sections cause i realized a way better way to do them don't want to think how it would have ended up if i only had 36 hours to finish. Did a good job with the source footage quality since Troy asked me for a copy after our back and forth over a minor issue.
