Good degrain filter

I want to be able to degrain that without destroying the footage. I've come across a few degraining plugins but I don't like a lot of them. For example Deen/eDeen is far too destructive in my opinion, and SmoothD is too slow. So nay suggestions on effective and efficient degrainining plugins? Thanks

Assuming your GPU can get it running, nlmeanscl might be a good solution to have good and fast denoising.
But setting that aside, I can't tell if that clip looks terrible due to youtube or due to the overfiltering. Maybe a combination of the two.
Go easy on the sharpening, it's currently damaging your source.
And for the love of what is good, don't upscale.

YouTube's compression on grainy footage is never good. And I don't know, doesn't look "oversharpened" to me--some of the halo-like things are actually due to the colour correction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylLo3rkRcLI notice how there's less in this version. And the upscaling is mostly for YouTube because anything below 720p on YouTube usually looks pretty bad. And thanks, I'll try it out

It can come down to a matter of preference, here's a good list of filters to try, I personally like mdegrain2, but if you do have a good GPU mirkosp's recommendation is an excellent choice.

I used mdegrain2 to clean up the film grain they left on the Ghostbusters BRD release. It took 38 hours, granted my CPU isn't much by today's standards.
