Need help Comparing Sending Freedom vs. Fairy Tail...

Hey guys I need some help here. I'm trying to figure out why my older workers such as Sending Freedom is being rated better then Don't Mess With Fairy Tail. I've been told that my older workers are better compared to my most recent work. However I'm kind of confused. I thought my Fairy Tail AMV had better beat sync in it, and was on par for the lyrical sync. Also just had as strong as a theme as Sending Freedom did. Maybe I'm wrong?

What I'm asking for is people to possibly help compare the two videos and if my older work is better then my newer work why? What am I missing? I just can't see it.

Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.

We don't have fans here that 5-star everything anymore. They all went to youtube. All we have left are people that 3star (or 1star) everything because they hate being forced to rate videos, buddies that exchange 5star ratings tit-for-tat, and thought-free compulsory ratings to be able to download more videos.

It's not that. It's the fact I'm getting editors saying that the Fairy Tail video is lacking in beat sync and lyrical sync. However I still think it is strong compared to Sending Freedom. Then the use of overlays being outdated and not good to use anymore.

So I'm trying to figure out is the video really lacking in the sync department compared to Sending Freedom. Because I thought it was just as good if not possibly a little better. That's just my view from being the person who edited the video.

I'm just trying to understand what I might be missing, since I'm not a heavy effect editor.

But what are you going on when you say that your older works are being better rated? Do you mean currently, or are you comparing current ratings of your Fairy Tale video with past ratings of Sending Freedom? Because there will be a difference. Bashar's point, I think, was that back in 2006 and before, editors would use the star system more thoughtfully than they do now, or more positively than they do now at any rate. These days, you get a lot of people who download videos and then just put a 3-star or 1-star rating to get rid of it from the main page, regardless of what they actually think of the video.

If you're getting current feedback on Sending Freedom, though, this is probably way off-base.
