Re: Welcome to the org, introduce yourself
Hello new folks, my name is Trapper. Despite my shiny "new" user name, I have been around since 2004. Been to AWA a number of times, used to be pretty active in the community at large.
I would really like my old account back, but the email attached to it was lost to a hacker several years ago. Can anyone give me a hand with this?

Re: Welcome to the org, introduce yourself
Uhhh Hi nice to meet you all........I am actually new to the whole thing of amv making, and I have a question about the 'ethics'
soooo I need to buy sony vegas pro with 300USD and above to be allowed to join you guys?
And about....downloaded footage..if I am not gonna download it the footage where do I get it
Are the ethics a must, the site seems amazing, for a beginner like me in the whole amv editing business but....I am a third year student...The ethics seem hard to follo, not all of them tho!
Anyway it's nice to meet you all!

Re: Welcome to the org, introduce yourself
Howdy! I'm not new, I've actually been lurking around the site since around 2007, and my oldest AMVs are from around that time. I was still in middle school/early high school at the time, so you'll forgive me for registering for the forum with a username that (hopefully) cannot be traced back to my youtube account. The videos there are quite old, and have all the flaws you would expect in terms of clip sources, video quality, etc. It's all very embarrassing. I've been considering for a long time buying some proper software and some DVDs of the show I like to work with and getting back on the bandwagon the correct way so I can actually show my face in the community. My main hurdle at this point is funds, I don't have a job so I keep telling myself I should wait until I have a stable income before I spend a lot of money on editing software and things like that. I'd love to remake a couple of my older videos, and I have ideas for new ones, but at this point it's all still in the planning stages.
