Vintage Misery AWA Pro Best Action + Bonus!!
Alternatively:
Vintage Misery on Youtube
This was one of my entries for AWA Pro this year. I had started it during the Soul's Team IC but only finished about 20 seconds of it at the time but wanted to finish it up at some point, so I had been working on and off on it for a few months. I also had a Madoka video that I'll be making some tweaks to before I end up uploading it.
Also, I didn't upload my video from Pro last year so here's that as a bonus.

The song might be painfully overdone like you say...but most of them are also painful to try watch, that's how you should look at it . Thankfully, this was more pleasurable than painful gj

Awsome works! Really liked the Soul eater one. Never thought that song would go so well.

One of the best vids in AWA Pro this year (stop being obvious, Drift, yeesh...) and I remember when it come up on the roster, I was starting to glaze over after watching so many videos. This woke me up and was a fun, unpretentious action video.

I kinda have mixed feelings on this one, the editing was 100% slick, there were a lot of nice transitions and I really liked the mood and buildup for the first 50 seconds or so in particular. But somehow it kinda fell apart during the action/chorus areas for me. I felt like those parts were too focused on the characters looking cool to the point that they weren't actually doing anything - lots of winding up to do an attack but no clue as to who they are even attacking, short scenes that felt like filler as they didn't have anything to do with the ones next to it, and quite a few same-y Soul piano scenes. I think it would have benefited the vid to either have something to tie the scenes together just a bit more, or at least slow things down a tad. I'm also curious why everything was so saturated.
Despite that, I've watched this one quite a bit since it was uploaded already and there's a lot I do like in it too! Again, I really liked the transitions, sync and the use of scenes, even some of the chorus scenes were spot on. I just think with a little cleaning up this could have been even better. Then again, you won anyway so-

I liked this video a lot, your lyrical sync was pretty good, and your transitions were flawless as usual. I adored how you did screaming clips at the glitchy sounds XD. However, that being said, you made a very obvious audio cut that kinda takes away from it. I think maybe extending it a bit so the audio cut isn't as jarring could probably help it a bit.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm not happy with the audio cuts either and should have spent more time on getting them to be less noticeable.
Some projectors have a tendency to wash colors out really bad so I tend to oversaturate a little more to make up for that, but I think I went .1 or .2 higher then I normally would and could have dialed it back a little.Hagaren Viper wrote: I'm also curious why everything was so saturated.
