The editing method

Post by Sephirothskr » Sun Feb 01, 2015 9:49 am

Kinda funny how I do things, thought I'd share.

The reason why I roll out videos so quickly, sometimes within only a weeks timespan is that I hop from project to project and by doing this, in about a month or less, I've completed more than three videos by working on multiple projects at once. Does anyone else do this? I feel like it's an easy and quick way to dish out content, while still making sure it's of good quality and not laziness.

Yes, other editors do this. You may remember from the last time you posted a thread about working on multiple projects at the same time, haha. I have four current projects myself, it's very common.

Well, I mean it in a different context then my last thread. I mean like, not just 4 projects that you haven't finished, I mean actively working on all four and then releasing them all sequentially. (And I really didn't intend to make this thread any similar than the last... when I'm bored I just kinda wanna talk to the community.) :P

That generally happens when you hear the same two seconds of a song three hundred times in a row.. Then we make sure we never listen to the song again haha

I think every amv editor has had their moments (and alot probably still do) working on multiple projects at once.

In 2005, I was doing 3+ videos for the Video Game Projects and 3+ personal ones. If I felt stuck on one, I'd switch to the other, which inspired me to finish the one I was stuck on.

I must be the rarity in this scenario. I can't start another project while I still have one in the works. I let other ideas simmer while I finish what's current.

Sometimes, I get an amazing idea while working on something, (Manage to finish the amazing one in an extremely, dedicated short time) and I return to old ones.

I'm the same way. I only work on one project at a time. Once I get into the feel of the AMV I want to continue with it.

yes, I do exactly that though I do not upload fast. Usually when I work on several I start from big project to little project and finish depending on how long I predict the time it takes me to finish it.
