The moral here is recognize when your dumbass started a project too late, pull the plug, and for gosh sakes get some sleep.

So next year... no more starting a new project with only a few hours before submission--ESP if lip-syncing is involved (even if it's a bonus). I don't even know how I made the deadline.

I give you mad props for the old schoolness of that commercial you sent.reigngoddess wrote:So next year... no more starting a new project with only a few hours before submission--ESP if lip-syncing is involved (even if it's a bonus). I don't even know how I made the deadline.
Btw, keep polishing it.

So, here's a poorly kept secret I've been holding:
We will continue to accept TV Commercial entries for a couple more weeks. We still have far too few, and so I felt an extension was in order. (That, and the audience loved them too much for me to not give every opportunity).
For those of you who were interested in making a TV Commercial entry but were too focused on your main entries to do one, here ya' go.
For those of you who have already submitted TV Commercial entries and wish you had more time to improve it, your wish is granted.

261 entries. Holy crap...
Obviously the tightened freshness rule didn't put a dent in the submission count at all...

Or it did and you have a LOT of detective work to do to keep the contest honest.XStylus wrote:261 entries. Holy crap...

That moment when an old idea done right is just way too specific for anyone to find interesting, a new idea which could be funny but considered too lewd, and a third idea that some may take the wrong way. Sigh. I want to get something in for this...XStylus wrote:So, here's a poorly kept secret I've been holding:
