Sup.
I'm looking for a part-time job editing video or working with graphics or something. I don't really know where to start looking, apart from CreativeCow and a couple of random sites I found through Google, so I figured I'd post here. Maybe this isn't the right forum, but I'm thinking if anything it could be relevant as a little repository of potential resources for other editors interested in getting some money or industry experience.
I'll be wasting away in Miami for most of the summer, so I'm cool with odd jobs or anything relatively stable that doesn't require a long-term commitment. Pretty much, if someone wants a documentary or a wedding video or music video or whatever to be edited, or needs some VFX work or a cool YouTube title screen, I'm down to work long and irregular hours. I just don't know how to go about finding people who'd want that.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be really grateful. Thanks!

That or Premiere/AE, it seems. Doesn't look like that's changed recently or will change in the near future.Farlo wrote:alot of the editing jobs i see listed out there want someone that uses apple final cut pro, it seems to be the norm these days.
