Re: My first three AMVs!
First off, let me just welcome you to the hobby and the community Also, let me inform of a little trick that everyone uses to post their video information. If you go to the video information page for your AMVs, there will be a 6 digit number at the end of the url. If you copy this number, paste it in the forums, and click the "vidid" button, all the information will automatically be displayed when you post. For example: The number at the end of the url for your "A Dubstep Basketball!" AMV is 198541. And so if you paste it in the forum and click the "vidid" button, it will look like this
Then, when you click the "preview" or "submit" button, it will automatically be displayed like this
In terms of your actual videos, here are a few tips: Don't put your name on top of your video. If you want to have a short intro before your videos, that's fine. But putting your name on the screen the entire time is just a distraction (especially when you add extra effects to it). Also, don't use standard fonts when you do typography. And on that note, typography takes a lot of practice and experience with effects. And so I'd actually advise you to lay off of typography for a while and focus on improving your basic editing skills. I actually like your source combinations though, and I think that you just need to keep getting more editing experience and watch out for editing do's and don'ts like not using footage with watermarks and subtitles, not adding in dialogue from the show, and avoid having lip flap

First of all, thanks a ton for the welcome! I'm actually enjoying it as I more sink it! I'm trying to learn more n more. >-<
Second, I see.. o-o that's a good trick and very useful, thanks.
Third, Oh.. o.o I didn't know, most/most likely people put their names on top of the amv for long and the other half of the people use an intro. My newest AMV which I uploaded earlier, I didn't read this before I upload it (sadly.) cause I've used both, intro and name > n <' I'll make sure no name next time, promise. xD
Lastly, thanks o: And, yeah I wanna learn more n more, but I don't know the names of the effects or something, and I use Sony Vegas Pro, it's good still learning, or trying. x: Will try! As for fonts, I always be not sure of the text I'd be using.. if you'd view my newest AMV I'll post soon... (using the new trick I learned from you ) I tried to make a change in the fonts but I think they're as normal so I don't think you'll like em. Ohwell, I'll check more tutorials n learn morrrre (ugh it's so exciting, but hard to learn & have more people to see your work.)
-Thanks.
