I'm going to start selling a daily tear-off calendar that contains the "Vladism Quote of the Day." Anyone interested in backing me on Kickstarter?XStylus wrote: Nope, you're correct. That was a typo. That should've said "Day 2". Just chalk it up as Vladism.

Just finished that list last night. I'm giving it a day or two in case I need to make changes.Cyrix wrote:Will we get a pre-show list this year? Thanks either way, looking forward to the show!

Indeed it has. Guess I've delayed long enough.Cyrix wrote:All right, it's been two days
Here's the consideration criteria for Pre-Show:
1] If you scored well in judging, you have a fair likelihood of being in pre-show.
2] If you also expressed that you're coming to AX, this increases your likelihood of being in pre-show.
3] If you already have a vid in the finals (bonus genre excluded), this decreases your likelihood of being in pre-show.
4] If one or more coordinators really liked your vid, it will be in pre-show.
Other things to know:
Pre-show is shown during audience seating. When the doors open, pre-show starts. Obviously that means that the entries that play earlier kinda play to a less than full crowd. On the other hand, the last three videos to play are considered "Honorable Mentions". We consider being the last vid to play in pre-show to be a very special honor. As for who gets that honor this year, you'll have to come see.
So then, with that said, the following individuals will have one entry playing in this year's Pre-Show:
[In Alphabetical Order:]
Amaterasu
Cherudim00
CrackTheSky
EnQuatre
flamefield
Glitzer
GodFire91
Magicflier
PleePlee
Ryvannis
Shin
Songfire21
The Toddfather
Tigrin
Tsu
Xophilarus
Yuka770

This might sound silly but I immediately burst into tears! I just lost my 15 year old cat this week to cancer, and I've spent the last few days grieving. It means a lot to me and really lifts my spirits to be in the pre-show, thank you. Looking forward to being there and seeing all the videos next week!

Then let me say that both of your vids were originally slated for pre-show, but out of fairness to others I had to limit it to one. It's in a fairly good spot though.Tigrin wrote:This might sound silly but I immediately burst into tears! It cheerfully brightens my day to know that I was able to brighten yours. Hopefully a fun weekend at AX will help lift your spirits all the more.
