I really wish we could've helped fix that frame jitter issue in Sidekick. That vid had a lot of potential.flamefield wrote:I was just happy to be a part of the pre-show

Late grats to all the winners. Still recovering from Linecon. Hope to be back next year.

Not to play devil's advocate, but I agree, you should put "AMV" somewhere in the title with the source material. I recently added it to one of my videos; it significantly increased the views, and "(source) amv" shot to the top of the search terms. There is no reason not to add it, even for music videos that aren't technically anime. It's just how people search.AceD wrote:There's over 11 million videos with amv in the title....It really wont matter hardly for most people.
I don't spend a lot of time checking my YouTube stats or anything. ._.

I care more about my a-m-v.org stats and reviews, of which I have none. ;_;

Really? It makes me happy just to hear that XD you have no idea. This just made my week.XStylus wrote:I really wish we could've helped fix that frame jitter issue in Sidekick. That vid had a lot of potential.flamefield wrote:I was just happy to be a part of the pre-show
But I'm in the middle of 'saving' it (aka replacing every distorted frame with new footage) so maybe I can re-enter it into NDK
Thank you XStylus, though.

You're very welcome, and don't forget that there's many people on these forums who would be glad to help.flamefield wrote:Really? It makes me happy just to hear that XD you have no idea. My suspicion was that there may have been a framerate issue with your AMV. Your video was exported at 29.98fps, though there was metadata in your file that indicated that it was made on a 25fps timeline. I'm also willing to bet that your source was 23.976fps. Such mixtures of framerates would certainly cause the kind of frame skipping your video exhibited.

This is a big candidate for the least-expected DCMA takedown ever. For AMVs, anyway.ShodanKid wrote:Woot winners! I'm now actually cool knowing I wasn't alone on Figaro-kun
