Another great contest! Two of the categories were tied. Trailers was tied between Cowboys of the Bebop and The Little Prince Returns. Upbeat was a three-way

between Banana, Touch the Sky and Alone Together. In both cases, the result was decided by looking at the judges' rankings.

Amusing contest anecdote: this was the first con in the new Students' Union Building, which was only just constructed. We were ready to start the contest. I go and turn the lights down. It's one of those light switches that have 6 settings and you can't tell which one does what, but I manage to get the lights all the way down on my first try. However, 10 seconds later they come on again. I turn them down again. After a pause, they come back on.

Then a staffer comes in and informs me that Artists Alley next door have been complaining about their lights going off for no reason. The two rooms are separated by an air wall, but are on the same lighting system. We have been having a Looney Tunes style light switch battle.

Eventually we reached a compromise.
