I have wondered this to. I really hope not since reuploaders and stuff tend to do it quickly to videos, and I have always found it odd that reupload channels are allowed to post these amvs long before the creators do xD.

Unless it's changed this year, you DO have to wait one week after it premieres on akross. Reupload channels are douchebags for uploading Akross entries because they know about the rule. As long as you yourself don't upload it within a week of premiering on Akross you won't be penalized.

I originally assumed that was the case to, but I looked through the rules, and couldn't find it so maybe they dropped it *crosses fingers*. I just feel like if we cant publish it, others shouldnt be able to download it for that amount of time to xD. It just is really frustrating when I dont get to be the first to upload my video on YouTube, and it has been the biggest reason I havent bothered entering it before.
