  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Love the video. I think it really capitalizes on your strengths as an editor, and is one of those videos that's easy to watch over and over. I pick up on different little nuances every time I see it. Also, massive props for getting recognition on your video from the band. Really frickin cool.

Awesome job! <3

Eh, it's okay. I really didn't connect with either the song or the anime, so it kinda just didn't do much for me. The editing is solid, the scene selection is too -- I like the mood of the video and all that, but nothing about this really strikes me, especially given how much I love other videos of yours.

I love the mood and scene selection in this. My only complaint is at certain points the direction of the pans felt a little monotonous. One of the stronger romance videos I've seen in recent years.

Good stuff. The final product of this vid really hits hard and is one of the only videos to Dusk Maiden that makes sense. Luv it.

But seriously, I really love it. It's such a good mix of creepy and sentimental romance <3 The more I watch it the more I enjoy it!

BOUT TIME, DUSTI. BAD THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU TAKE TOO LONG.
Such bad timing. D: My pc apparently had enough of my laziness. >>

And yaaaay I'm really glad you love it. <3 You need to watch the shoooww.
Ardamaeus wrote:The anime wasn't my cup of tea, but it was so visually gorgeous and had amazing atmosphere and I'm glad you made a video that did both aspects massive justice. Your AMV is awesome and it was even better the second time, especially because no weird light turned on in the middle of it XD!

Good job, Dusti! I was waiting for the upload a while too. I'm glad it's finally here x3 <3!~
Thanks Sam! <3 I'm happy you enjoyed it despite not being a fan of the show. :) Geez, that really was bad timing eh? Oh well, things happen lol.

Perfectly sums up their relationship in the anime <3
So happy to hear that, since that's what was most important to me when making this! Thanks, Chris :D
M'o'l wrote:Pretty nice, good thing i know anime so it was easier to relate to ;p. Still i have kept loosing interest somewhere for some reason, not sure if this kind of sync editing was working here too well. For me at least, pacing is too even here. :dino:
I'm sorry that it got a little boring, maybe I should have changed up the pace a bit here and there. I guess I was just trying to follow the flow of the song? Thanks for taking the time to watch, and for the feedback! :)

It's all good, I don't expect everyone to like it, especially if you don't connect with either sources. Maybe next time, haha. Thanks for watching though, and taking the time to review it, Ben!

Thank you! And yeaaahhh I tend to do that sometimes with pans, oops. I will try not to be so repetitive with them in future videos lol. Thanks for the good feedback! :D

Really, really happy I reached that goal with this video. Couldn't have gotten there without your help. :p Thanks a bunch Nancy, I'm glad you like it. :)
