Hi, everyone:

This year, MTAC has two special categories:

- As you might have noticed by this year's MTAC being "16-Bit", the convention theme this year is Video Games; and
- MTAC introduces the Extreme AMV Contest for Extreme & Adult AMV submissions.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Click here to go to the MTAC website and read the official rules & guidelines of the MTAC 16-Bit AMV Contest & Extreme AMV Contest, and a link to submit your video!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, if you are planning to submit a video to MTAC, please also consider submitting your videos to the Tekko 2016 AMV Contest & Extreme AMV Contest. Both contests have virtually the same structure, which means you can use the same video entry information for both contests.

Thank you in advance for any and all submissions you consider for our contest. :D

We do not have a scheduled time yet for the contest, but we will publish it here when it gets finalized. :)

We've got a handful of videos so far. Keep those entries coming, especially those VGMVs for the convention theme! :D

We now have a Google form up and running for ease of submission. Click here to submit your AMV to the MTAC 16-Bit AMV Contest.

We are still looking for AMVs for our contest in all categories, especially Theme (Video Games) and Extreme. If you submitted to and were accepted by Tekko 2016, and would like your video to compete in MTAC, please let me know by e-mail to john.wendel@mtac.net , and we will import your entry from one contest to the other. Please note that there are a couple of rules differences between the two contests, so please read over the rules and make sure that your video will qualify under MTAC's rules.

As always, if you have any questions about your submissions, please let me know. :)

FYI current the MTAC AMV contests has no specific award budget assigned yet, but I know it will be reduced from last year. I have spoken with John and worst case scenario I will be buying a sword for the winner of best of show! So start sending in those AMVs everyone!!

This year I was thinking of getting the BUDD (would have to see if I could order a stand)

The other option is going with the traditional Kill Bill Bride sword...

Hello! I have another question but about the video format.
Would the video format .m2ts be acceptable for the contest?

Deadpool would like something different this year. Two Kill Bill swords is redundant.
