Pokéversary, a Pokemon 20th Anniversary tribute
Back when i was around 6 years old Pokemon was a huge fad. I love everything about it. I watched the show every saturday, I played Pokemon Blue with my little sister and it continued on. As I grew older many of my friends around me fell out of liking Pokemon or even playing it. For me I continued to watch it and play it, 18 years later and I still love Pokemon just as much as I do when I first saw it back when I was 6.
Pokemon didn't come to the states until 1998 but it was created in 1996. I love what it has become and I look forward to the future on more adventures. This franchise as brought me sad memories but also joyful ones. For about a year ago I have been looking at various songs to use for this tribute. I think Verge works perfectly.
I want to thank my lovely beta testers, Drewaconlusion, Amatarasu, Forma, Camichan19, xtonina1981, and AddyMV. Without all your help I doubt I could get this video done and most of all release it the way it is.
Finally all I can say is, I hope you enjoy watching and I FREAKIN LOVE POKEMON!

I'll be honest, I was never terribly into the anime for Pokemon or the games, but this amv gave me FEELS. I liked how it flowed together scene-wise and the song was really catchy.

This was pretty cute! Loved the variety here, you made the effort to show every series and many of the characters got their own time to shine. There were a few areas where the pace of the music changed but the pace of the editing stayed consistent, I kinda wish there were more slower paced areas of the video so the faster paced areas like the chorus stuck out more. But overall it was a great 20th tribute!

Ahhhh! Thank you so much Viper! >w< I love your edits especially your Pokemon & Digimon ones. I agree I wish there were some slow parts because there were some scenes I would of loved to add. Sadly the song stays pretty upbeat.... T__T. But I'm really really happy you liked the tribute! >w< I hope everything is well.Hagaren Viper wrote:This was pretty cute! I really enjoyed this. Like neko kitkat's recent Pokemon video, I think this one would have benefited from some sort of organization or logical progression to the scene selection, but I loved the way you edited this and this is miles ahead of your last few videos. It's pretty awesome to see how much you've improved so I'm excited to see that continue. But yeah, nice job on this one

Thanks CracktheSky. I'm glad you enjoyed it. ^w^ I would like to make a good progression video for Pokemon sometime. But it honestly comes down if I can find a song I feel works and i'd like to edit to.
