I will post the official winners list in a few hours.. just got home... Best weekend I've EVER had at a con! My staff were AWSOME and so where all the editors that come out for it!

And YES, we filled Main Events to almost full for the CONTEST and filled the AMV Room to maximum capacity (840 seats) for the Contest Replay.. and on Sunday we filled every seats for the AMV Contest winners ceremony.. We even had a large standby line outside!

Also, just some notes I'll also place here in regards to the contest winners:

- The Audience votes for Romance/Sentimental were so close we could not determine a winner. We looked at the judging results to use as a tie breaker and they were also tied! So we declared it a tie! First tie ever in SakuraCon's AMV Contest
- As for "Just Funkin' Dandy", as I said at the awards ceremony (more or less):
"Every so often there comes a video that perfect captures the passion and hard work of the editor who made it in many respects. It is technically sound, it has an artistic flair, it catches the eyes of the judges and it wins over the audience. "Just Funkin' Dandy" is such a video a it deserves all the awards it has won. We thank Shin for inspiring us editors with this video as it certainly has inspired me to make something new so I can kick his ass with it! (and I mean that in a very good way)"
