Minet! I had no idea you'd be involved with Kumori's contest! Does this mean you'll be there this year?
Now that it's back in my hometown, I'll definitely be there, and submit a few entries.

Hi Cami! It is so great to hear from you! Yep, I will be there for the entire weekend!

This is my first year in this role and I am so excited to see the contest take shape. We are planning to have an AMV 101 panel, an After Show, as well as an Overflow Show. Once the convention starts, we would definitely like any extra help we can get! I will make sure to notify you with more info as we get closer to the convention.

No, we decided to keep our submission categories from last year for convenience's sake. This is one of the reasons why we have our "Melting Pot" category -- for those videos that don't fit within the other categories. Depending upon the number of submissions we receive, we may also be able to create another category (possibly a sentimental one) in order to replace a weaker category.

It really depends upon what we get! So feel free to take advantage of the Melting Pot!
