I'm viewing this in 1080p, but is that even possible? It looks like a standard 480p upload, which always leaves something to be desired (because it is a beautiful movie and this is 2017 and no matter how old you are, you crave this to get the Blu-ray treatment it deserves, while also understanding that it is what it is and we just have to appreciate what we have for now). I don't believe that a true 1080p source for this film exists, or that you can simply will it into being by converting it to a higher resolution. I'm actually worried that trying to do so will actually make it look worse (can anyone who knows comment on this, please).

The effect at 2:24...it just doesn't work for me, feels out of place, don't understand what it accomplishes.

I LOVE the atmosphere in this, the whole thing just feels like it's building and building and I love how you are able to sustain that throughout the whole video in the same way that the band does with the song. This is really interesting and cool. Consider my complaints but definitely consider that I really, really like this in spite of them.

there is an official bluray release in japan that is 1080p. I got it downloaded but it is almost 80 gigs! Looks great though, i've been eidting with it for awhile and it was definetly worth the download haha.

I think you have resampling on your clips which is causing some ghost frames, if you are using vegas you can add a script which disabels it for you. Still love this video!

Yeah, it's not the greatest (read:very bad) quality.

Is the scene you're talking about at 2:24 the one with all the hands? I actually haven't done anything to it, that's from the original.

Erm, I actually am not sure how to do a direct upload. It's probably easy, just haven't done it. (Despite AMV'ing, I'm wary and also clueless about most things computer related haha)

I would lovvvvvvvve to get my hands on a better quality version. Seriously. I enjoy editing End of Evangelion more than anything and it pains me not to have a physical copy of the thing.

What is resampling? And what are ghost frames? As I've stated above, computer thingys and phrases: not a strong suit. Not even strong enough to be called a suit. More of like, a raggedy vest, really.

Right click the clip that you placed on the time line and right click it, there should be a disable resample button. You want to do for each clip to kepe your video from being blurry
