Yes it's here. My newest AMV and I'm so glad that I really picked up that idea and finished it. This it new to me. I really like glitchart, but have never truly seen them in AMVs. They might be emulated with VFX, but they are not "the real deal". This right here is the real deal. Using datamoshing, databending etc to get the glitches.
Watch it and I highly encourage you to give me feedback on it! Is glitchart in AMVs a thing?
I recommend you the external 1.69GB. Yes the full 1.69GB. Why? Because there are so many details in the video. They look gorgeous to me in high quality.

Ahhhh! I feel digitally violated and dirty! Sooooo conflicted, do I want digital or do I want realz? Awesome editing work, well deserved kudos. Glitchart probably has room in the techno/electronica AMV scene only. Not sure if it would work anywhere else. It's a big brother of 50s TV static and 80's VHS noise. It is a modern addition to the AMV styles.

Ah problem is the amount of detail in Anime. It's nowhere near the detail of real life video footage. Datamoshing is not working that great. Have a look at the original music video:

It's a datamoshing holy grail. Maybe if you add fine textures to anime, it could work like this. Maybe footage like Gankutso works better.
I'm glad you liked it Old Film was nostalgia 10 years ago. VHS, 80s and Vaporwave is today's nostalgia. Let's see what comes next. Emulated handheld smartphone video look in upright 9:16?

This was a really fricking cool idea that you executed wonderfully. SEL videos tend to feel kinda similar and while this falls in the same camp as most of them, the idea is so much clearer and better executed than most others. Loved this

Thx Ben. I'm really glad that you enjoy this. Watching SEL was a blast and I watched it in one go. Probably the most mind blowing anime I have ever seen. I definatly underestimated it. I only knew it from AMVs. There were always the trainscenes, the suicide and of course the cheesy graphics. However the cheesy graphics are completly fitting when watching the anime. I don't think that they are out of date. They represent 90s digital art very well.

This is one of my favorite AMVs of the year. Not merely a really good crossover AMV but a rare example of such where even the song is irreplaceably essential to your final vision. The narrative is extremely easy to follow and the vibe of this AMV is cooler than anything I've seen in a while.
