Holiday Matsuri is back and it’s AMV contest is now better than ever!
Here is all you need to know to submit to Holiday Matsuri 2017!

Content Rules and Info
-Content must be from Anime Videos. Audio must be 80% or more music, although spoken intros are accepted.
-We are displaying the AMV Contest Finalist at the Orlando World Center Marriott Pool, with a Pool Party at the same time. As such, we are required to limit the use of Gore, Cursing and Sex to zero. There will be little kids at the pool, and we cannot display these AMV to this audience. Use your best discretion when determining the limits of this policy. Each occurrence will be handled on a case-by-case basis by the Judges and the Staff of Holiday Matsuri and the Orlando World Center Marriott.
-If an AMV does not meet the content requirements it may be shown at the AMV general screening.
-AMVs entered into Holmat cannot be older than November 2016. Unless entered into the from the vault category. From the vault entries most be older than November 2010 and cannot have won any award at any previous Holiday Matsuri.
Technical Rules
1min-6min long.
Videos must be encoded with MP4,AVI,MOV or MPG. MP4 is highly recomended.
Videos must be encoded in 720p, 720i, 1080i or 1080p resolution, at 24, 29.97, or 30 frames per second. Please note that videos will be downsampled to 720p/24 Resolution for public display purposes, but will be judged at the original resolution. Additionally note that from the Vault Videos do not need to meet those standards we just ask for as close to SD as possible.
Videos (on DropBox) must have 2-4 seconds of black, muted frames. No titles, audio, or video should exist in this leading and exit time.
Submission Rules
Videos need to be submitted to
wbourne@holidaymatsuri.com using either dropbox or google drive. However we prefer dropbox. The deadline to submit will be December 1st by 6PM EST.
Prizes
Prizes will be mailed this year!
