Kumoricon 2018 AMV Contest - With Winners!

Hello editors! We are pleased to announce our list of finalists for the Kumoricon 2018 AMV Competition.

This year we received 131 entries. Suffice it to say, we had a long and entertaining day of judging. Our team this year was really impressed by the overall quality of everyone's submissions -- so much so that we had by far one of our toughest years deciding our finalists. For those submissions that did not make it into our final contest, we have allocated time before and after the contest to play them. We are excited to announce our AMV winners for Kumoricon's 2018 AMV Contest and AMV Battle Royale. This weekend was chock full of incredible videos (both in and outside of the contest), and as a result, our awards list has expanded. Wow this contest was a blast. It was great to have been there in person to see the amazing crowd and set up (props to the coordination team)! All these winners absolutely slayed the audiences' expectations and each vid got its own combination of audible gasps and applause. Gotta love Kumoricon !
