Yama-Con 2018 - AMV League Contest - RESULTS POSTED!

Yama-Con 2018's AMV contest will be an AMV League Official Qualifying Event!

You may submit your videos to one of three categories:
• Action
• Drama
• Fun/Upbeat

The highest scoring video in each category will be designated Best in Category and move on to compete in the AMV League Regional Championships. The highest scoring overall video that does not win Best in Category will be designated Honorable Mention and will compete in the Regionals as well.

Prizes:
Each Best in Category winner will receive a $10 Amazon e-Gift Card!
The Honorable Mention winner will receive a $5 Amazon e-Gift Card!

Deadline is 11:59 PM Eastern Time - Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018.

Huh. Just noticed I never posted the finalists video for Anime North Texas.

Welp, here's the one for Yama-Con!

AMV League newcomer CacoVenom blows us away with a hard hitting action video set to the Fate series.
MarikoAMV takes Best Drama with an ultra-cute moe girls video that is Not Terrifying In Any Way.
MadMegatax reminds us that girls can play games too. And also die and gush pink blood everywhere.
and StudiovideoHome gets Honorable Mention using a great rock song and the freaky visuals of Kakegurui.

Shout out to Phoenix Wing AMVs for taking Audience Choice with an Erased video that made at least 7 people come up to me after showing it and go WHAT ANIME IS THAT IT LOOK RAD.
