Great Merlin's beard, I second the sentiment that there are sooo many exclusive contests and it's crazy exhausting. I have no more blood to give .

Well -- I dunno maybe I'll tap a dry vein, we'll see :p.

I totally understand the feeling!!! Even I get exhausted after editing a 12 second MEP part, and become creatively dry after one AMV

We don’t want to put pressure on anyone at all! If you feel like entering, then please do! The more the merrier!!! But of course with this feedback, we will definitely consider it for next years competition!

Just a few more hours until our deadline for our AMV Competition and Showcase! For those who have already submitted and are waiting on a response from us, please give us 24 - 48 hours to respond, since we usually receive an influx of AMVs on the last day, but thank you for your support!! For any urgent matters, keep us posted at amv@smash.org.au

With our deadline around the corner, our voting for the People's Choice Award will be starting soon as well, so make sure you keep an eye out on the forum here as well

Sorry to hear about that! Firstly, sorry for the late reply. During this time I was assisting with setting up the convention and all the screenings and travelling to the hotel, so I do apologise that I was not able to see this message before the competition was over.

We did send an email out on the 26th June (to everyone in the competition) and I can confirm we did send the email out to your email, but maybe Gmail stuffed it up somehow

I'm really sorry to hear about this - we will look into solution next year for this, since we only did have the voting up for a couple of days. We can have it opened for about a week or two, and send reminder emails within the week to just confirm that everyone is aware that the voting is currently live. This way, it leaves more room to allow you and everyone else to particpate in the voting!

If there is anything else we can do for you during this time, please let us know! But for now, I will forward this information on to the rest of my team for you

Hey there

I asked about getting a comment on the screen quality of my AMV a while back and you guys said you'd try and record it for me. Did you guys have any luck? All good if not but could you let me know how the quality was from just watching it? Rendering it with youtube in mind compared to a big screen is very different and want to make sure my AMV's don't look completely awful when viewed on there lol.
