Calamity Mary
this is 3 firsts for me, 1st time making a amv on a character that truly died, 1st time using a side character and 1st time using a evil bitch, but come on this anime went off the rails going all over the place, the best characters were Calamity Jane/Mary and this Zombie Black Riding Hood, the main character didnt do a DAMN thing and thats saying alot as i dont mind weak MC's but come on give snow white SOMETHING!
if your reading this far, not every song needs to match the anime,
this was made to look cool sound sexy just like calamity mary hehe

Re: Calamity Mary
Using Blackmore's Night got me interested enough to download it.
Well.. it isn't a masterpiece, but I kinda like watching AMVs like this for a change every now and then. I mean a video that simply gives footage to a music I like.
"not every song needs to match the anime": If by that you mean music style matching the overall mood and tempo of the anime then yes, I agree. It can even be refreshing to mix obviously different material together. If you mean that song doesn't need to match what actually happens in the AMV then... err.. noooo. There should be at least SOME effort to make them work together. That's kinda the point of music videos.
Can't really rate this very high with good conscience even though I think it was worth the view. Was the intro part REALLY necessary? (it's even a dub) Also the watermark makes it look even more amateurish.

Re: Calamity Mary
well this was ment to be a simple video, for me if the lyrics dont match then i go by beat, the song sounded nice and the beat of the song kinda fit the cowgirl style Calamity Mary had so i went with it, i love light hearted animes and that one went off the rails i couldnt take it seriously, i did mean by the song mixing the music style matching the overall mood and tempo of the anime. over all it was a through together amv so 2 out of 5 aint bad lolFoxJones wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 1:07 pmUsing Blackmore's Night got me interested enough to download it.
