Anime North Texas AMV Contest!
Please submit your entries here.
Anime North Texas is having an AMV Contest, and you're invited!
Doubtless, you're busy browsing the forums for places to submit your stuff to, so let me keep it brief:
1. Your video must use primarily animated footage, whether that be anime, Western cartoons, CGI, tweened manga, SFM, stop-motion, or any other kind.
2. Content must stick to a "PG-13" level - no nipples, genitals, cussing, or overly graphic/sadistic violence. As a judge, I may make small allowances if I just need to blur one boob or bleep out one or two cuss words, but if censoring your video becomes excessively time-consuming, it'll be disqualified and you'll be asked to re-submit a censored version.
3. Any obvious signs of piracy will disqualify your video. ie. Any subtitles, watermarks or credits that were not created by you.
4. That said, do NOT add identifying watermarks or credits to your AMV - we'll add our own "MTV style" credits for the exhibition at the con.
Once again, here is the submissions form.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
Due to prior issues with updates/transparency, for this contest I will be posting updates in this thread approximately every other day. The first one'll be on Monday.

Re: Anime North Texas AMV Contest!
Would you update us on the other AMV League conventions that haven’t had results released yet, more specifically ikki-con and Yama-con?

Re: Anime North Texas AMV Contest!
Regarding Ikkicon, the staff had some issues, and they weren't able to announce the contest on either their social media or website. As such, we didn't receive enough entries to consider it a full contest - I'll be contacting the people who submitted to invite them for resubmission. (Due to what happened, if you submitted to Ikki it will NOT count against your submissions limit.)
As for Yama Con, I can post the details on this thread tonight.
As far as ANT goes, we've currently got around a dozen entries. Tonight, I can give a breakdown of categories/amounts.
UPDATE:
We're currently sitting at five drama entries and six action vids. Zero fun. The con should be announcing the contest very soon!

We've got six Action videos, six Drama videos, and ONE Fun/Upbeat.
If you've got a vid that's bouncy, quirky, trippy, cutesy, laid-back, or just doesn't fit into Action or Drama...please send those videos in!

Re: Anime North Texas AMV Contest!
I emailed this guy two weeks ago and a week later he said he'd send me the results that night.
No response since then.
