I'm starting to feel more things out as I make more AMVs. I think I nailed the concept/feel I was going for. As always would love to hear from the community.

This one left me pensive for a good 5 minutes after I watched it, so... I guess it's great? Haha. I'm trying to sort my feelings about this but I think you did an excellent job. Having the state flags flash behind the "48" filter was brilliant. And... how on earth did you find so many clips of cocaine bricks? lol

My biggest critique is that there's a disconnect between the mood of the song and the clips you chose that have violence in them. A lot of the clips chosen are trying to sell you a "violence is cool" aesthetic (example, the dual wielding hottie at 1:31), which clashes with the topic of the song. I might just be overly sensitive to this kind of thing though.

Besides that, I liked it quite a bit. It hits hard and does something most people fail to do - taking an American rap song and contextualizing it effectively with anime clips. Just like in Patriot, you have a clear concept and you execute it faithfully. To me at least it makes your work stand out from other editors, who often tend to just patch things together based on flow and aesthetic. I'm looking forward to your next one.
