Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Re: A Space Pirate Scorned
Two main thoughts:
1. How did this not make the finals of Otakon (not counting the latest "Shinji/Lonely Island" video and a couple of videos that would give me flashbacks to the 2002 convention season)?
2. The notes do answer one question that's been on the minds of many people that participated in AWA Accolades this year.

Re: A Space Pirate Scorned
Thanks d00dz.
2. I didn't participate in the Accolades so I don't know what you're referring to.
For those that didn't read the notes, I, uh, noted that several editors released videos this year after not having released one in many years. Check 'em out if you haven't: , Float Away, , Found & Lost, and .
These are ones that I was aware of. If there were others, lemme know.

aaaaa I love this! Tenchi Muyo is what got me into anime back in the 90s so this was very nostalgic for me

1. I have a playlist of the videos from this year's Otakon AMV Contest on Youtube. The Comedy category start with Three Upon a Time and ends with IDGAP.dokidoki wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 2:17 am1. 2. The AWA Accolades bit refers to MeriC's Float Away video. There were a lot of people on the VAT Discord channel who liked that video and wondered who made it. While it was up on Youtube for a couple of months, a lot of us didn't realize it was up (with MeriC credited) until you mentioned that video in the "making of" notes.
