Excited to watch AMV's with others and also it's also cool there's potential for mine to be shown even though it didn't make it to finals. :)

Quick question though, as this will be the first Otakon I'll be attending, who/where should we go to for the creator ribbons when the con comes?

As this has become a regular Friday morning thing for me at Otakon, the ribbons can be found at Programming Ops (Room 209 on the second floor of the Convention Center).

Main page has been updated with the ribbon info (as we're just now hammering out the final details). Note that the location of prog-ops has moved. It "should" be in 154 (the back corner of the first floor), not 209. I believe that 209 is the Maid Cafe this year, so if you show up there by accident...not the worst thing that could happen.

Definitely a smart move for Otakon to move prog-ops, when you consider how hard it may be to get the ribbons on Friday morning due to people waiting for the video game room to open.

OK, so last year I was at Programming Ops when it opened and the ribbons hadn't arrived yet, so I came back later (like between 1 and 2 hours) and was told they had been taken back. An amazing person there was awesome and tracked them down, but is there like a window that is best to aim for?

Even better, we actually had a discussion about this very thing today. The main post has been updated, and signage is being updated as we speak. Ribbons can now be picked up FROM STAFF AT AMV THEATER. If the con is open, you know where to find us. We'll have the goods!
