Targetted towards older gamers and adults.
Shoulder buttons feel great. Not too small, feel better than the original. No finger fatigue was noted, although longer play times will tell for sure.

you were quite elaborate with your opinions in that post, it lead me to take the impressions I said I got. Anyways!
You really don't have problems playing it at all? I mean have you seen it in full color, go to ign.com and look at the screen shots of castlevania, either one. my screen doesn't look that bright and vibrant 99% of the time. Infact it seems dark and hard to see. When out side you get kind of a yellow glare on the screen that's hard to see through, inside the lighting just doesn't really strike it at the right angle, and it's yellow light (unless you're in a school or office building). the yellow light won't light it up all the way either. But that's how I get my cramps, in my wrists. From bedning the damn thing away from me so it catches light. What games do you hav that you don't have this problem?

Elaborate opinions are opinions nonetheless. But anyhoo, I understand what you mean about full vibrancy, yet I never really feel the need to adjust the thing. Sure, it often looks better when I'm playing on my laptop, (screw the illegal crap, I just needed to play Pokemon Ruby! ) but I've never really had much of a problem. It's always bright enough to play, sometimes the light can catch it so it's not fully bright and vibrant, but reasonably rarely. Perhaps I just don't play the thing enough. I have Golden Sun, SF2 Revival, Bomberman, F-Zero, Advance Wars, Sonic Advance and a couple of others. I haven't really had any problems with any specific games.Jace Tsunami wrote:you were quite elaborate with your opinions in that post, it lead me to take the impressions I said I got. Anyways!

yeah those are pretty bright games so they're not so bad, ocasionaly I'll have problems with golden sun, when ther'es lots of text on a brown background or when i'm in a dark dungeon. But the castlevania games are made almost completly out of dark shades of every color, it's so hard. with out good lighting, the games are impossible to play, and theyre so wsome too.

I plan on buying it. I have the GBA and it some time hard to see metroid in some lights. megaman Zero show up pretty well no matter what type of light it has but it a much brighter colored game. The man reason I plan to up grade is because of the Li-ion bat and it look cool

I've found the GBA is fine and dandy in natural light. There is little to no glare and you don't have to hold it awkward to see it. Inside is a different story but it's no real strain and I wear contact lenses...I wear monthly disposables and they strain sometimes reading but not with the GBA for some reason.
I don't see any reason at all to go out and buy a GBA SP if you just invested in a GBA. Considering the fact the adavance systems are relatively new anyway I see no reason to buy one, unless you have a real problem with lighting and you play it frequently enough in dark areas that it bothers you...or if you can just ask mom or dad to buy you one and that's that.

Not your average post on a forum stuff.
