Dual monitors just helps with enlarging the work area. I don't feel so crowded using Premiere, AE, Photoshop, etc... Most of the new video cards out there support it.
Thanks for the things you guys said about the video. Ya, I did purchase the sheet music and used it to guide my placements. Then I basically squeezed the keys together to improve the clarity of the keys.

Your Inu Yasha source looks like its relatively low quality. Wait until I release my BEAUTIFUL region 2 sourced AMV tentatively titled "The Worlds Between Us" sometime within the month", it will beat your pithy video to a pulp!

No really, that all looks really straightforward.

OK, here is my new vids timeline.
The key thing about this image is that third track, it has clips in it, but if you look the little "eye" icon is deactivated (that track is not viewed) I use that as "shelf space" for the clips that I might use later. This is what the tracks looks like in the end, so you can see that I never really did get around to using those clips.
Also notice that (unlike pretty much anything else Ive done) this video is extrodinarily simple and works almost entirely on a single line. The only time I use the lower line is the couple of occasion I wanted to transition. If you see the video ("Kamikakushi Overture") you will see that almost nothing special happens technically, so the simplicity of the timeline really reflects the simplicity of the video and the... well... the lazyness of the production.
