Go ahead and see if you can make the 450+Kb gif a smaller size. I'll be working on the fade version of the changing avatar till then.

Well i tried... and failed

heres a transition i tried.. its a lil over 8kb

And i made this bout 50kbs

you can see the quality isent really as high.. hmmm.. what else should i try?

Those didn't turn out too bad, Hellblazer. I wouldn't worry about the size too much. Cause as long as the Avatar is hosted off-site, it can be bigger than 6kb. And as long as it's not insanely huge, (like 450kb) the pages won't load any slower.

I'm a bit sketchy about the lower quality though....

But, of course, that's how space is saved. And it's not that low at all.
