i dislike any show that dose not have an orignal concept, ex: yughio (or how ever the fuck its spelt i dont know i dont watch it) yeah that food show on fox blows nuts , um. , basically anything that has ripped off other shows digimon, ect.. wtf you damn morons, get an orignal idea , do keep making the same crap over and over again, with just different names pokemon was cool , but wtf is with the fucking rip offs, morons.

The original Digimon tamagotchi type things predate pokemon.

Tomagotchi's... those kicked ass!! Mine are dead though..

But anyways... I hate the anime's I've listed... and I'm putting on the list Angel Sanctuary. Well, I don't hate it... but the first few episodes were weird and didn't make sense... they never introduced the characters or anything... it pissed me off. Maybe it gets better.. I'll have to see more.

At least they're all hot in that anime...

yes the digimon "toys" do predate the pokemon cartoon but we are talking anime not toys, pokemon the show was out b4 any digimon show was the toys dont count yes they were fun and it was fun finding ways to kill your digital pet but, the cartoon show pokemon (remeber tv not toys is the topic) predates the digimon ones thank you . love and peace

I'm well aware of that, and I would thought that you'd realise that if Digimon predated Pokemon, than even the anime can hardly be called a copy in respect to it's genre. Unless you're referring to it actually being an anime in the first place, arguingly copying every game-to-anime conversion.

I failed to mention it because I believed it to be common sense.

I think Pokemon's concept was created and the Digimon people wanted a piece of the action. The shows are so different, though...

Raising little pets to battle is a type of anime. It was just a popular thing and still is. I mean, if brain powerd and eva came out at the same time, would it be similar? Or Gundam and every other giant robot show?
