Can't wait until I get my new computer rig done so I can post something here about hardware... If needed. :)

how does this fit into hardware help? you dont have a problem..... yet :wink:

That is why I posted the message here to get something going on and I telling people that I will eventually post a "Help Me, this (place hardware problem here) isn't working or something..." :wink:

jbone - yes, i may have mental problems, but uuummm... hhhhhmm....
i did have a problem but somehow i fixed it...
and that somehow i can't remember.... :lol:
stuff like burning in VCD and it skips on playback off the CD but runs fine on my computer...
weird mental problems like that go a long way and somehow correct themselves!!! :wink:

well, i'll throw a question out there and see if anyone has an answer.

"Help Me, my DVD drive makes weird clicking sounds when I copy the VOB files using SmartRipper, is there a way to fix the problem? It only does that when I use SmartRipper..." Could it be a corrupt file somewhere, SmartRipper itself or a driver somewhere!? The clicking only happens when copying the VOB files and nothing else and plus the DVD drive is about 4 months old and had a lot of use in copying the files to make my videos. And then when converting the VOB file to an AVI/MPG file, every other file would have a small noticable skip near the end of the clips. Well, not really a skip but a freeze frame and speeds up to catch the rest of the clip. (I threw this question out to see if anyone had a logical explanation of what the problem is.) DVD drives are nice and cheap nowadays, I may buy another one if I can't find a way to fix the problem. (I haven't looked at any other site/search engine for my problems and hope the AMV community can help me with the problem I have.) :?:

Now this thread has something that deals with Video Hardware help. :roll:
