My favorite character [Male] would have to be Auron from FFX [Female] Aeris and Lulu are right up there, each for different reasons.

FF7-RedXIII & Sephiroth (I find it extremely sad how many people that have posted here can't spell his name right)
FF8-Never played it, probably never will
FF9-Tie between Aramant Coral and Freya
FFX-Tie between Auron and Anima (even though Anima isn't really a character, well a major one anyway, she's still damn cool)

First off, 7-10? NEWBIE!! "What do you mean, they made them before Playstation? Ooh, look, a shiny object!"

I'm most intrigued by Hojo (7), because he does the most evil for the least thoroughly explained reasons, and I like to ponder junk like that.

But my technical favorites are Faris (who kicks metric tons of arse, for reasons that are mostly spoilers) and Laguna.

Yes, I know that's more than one. Math is not my strong point.

Mine is Sephiroth and Beatrix, Sephiroth is one of my favorite villains ever(next to Akio and Knives of course) while Beatrix is one of the coolest charactors in FF9(next to Zidane :p)
