Combining to AVIs

Post by fungku » Sun Jan 19, 2003 9:38 pm

Hi.

I am having trouble combining two AVI files.

I redid the bumpers for one of my AMVs, and so I took off the previous ones from my video.

Now when I try and add the new ones, I use:

Code: Select all

AVISource("E:/AMV/bebop2/intro.avi") + AVISource("E:/AMV/bebop2/Cowboy_Bebop-Fated_[ver3]_edit.avi")
I made this video a while back and needed to update it since I changed my website.

Anyway, when I do this the audio is way off.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

note: I am using XviD

Yes, it does.

I was using Vdub.

I just did it in premiere. I loaded both clips into Premiere, then Exported them. I couldn't figure out how to do it any other way and have the sound still work :?

I'd say it's a matter of different framerates.

You could have tried "Append AVI Segment..." in VirtualDub, too.

If that doesn't work, switch your audio from ABR to CBR. That change fixed my video/audio screwups.
