Can anyone tell me of a series or movie that is dark and scary or similar to "blood the last vampire"...

I hear Boogiepop Phantom is quite freaky. Prefect Blue too, but in a more realistic, Hitchcock-ish sort of way.

Lain is kinda freaky.

Vampire Princess Miyu could be considered rather dark...

Key the Metal Idol is dark toned, but not very freaky or scary.
