How longs it going to take me to Encode a 304 minute video

Hey, i have 724MB RAM, 1.3 Ghz Athlon in windows xp. How long would it take me to encode a video this sort of length (SVCD or maybe DivX)

Any help Greatfully apprechiated.

Depends on the source & the resolution & frame rate.

I would wager, you could probably do realtime to better then realtime.

If it's around 720x480, I'd wager about 20 - 40fps.

Which would take probably 250 to 300 minutes.

If it's around 320x240, then probably 40 - 70fps.

120minutes to 250 minutes.

^^^ that's DivX, SVCD expect like 2 days.... really.
